The Little League program offers the opportunity for virtually every child in the world to participate in a organized program.  All children, boys and girls, between the ages of 5 and 18 are eligible to play.  Little League offers locally chartered programs, like Rockford Little League, a reasonable degree of latitude in structuring their local program so as to provide the greatest access to the greatest number of children, regardless of their athletic ability.
